Chariot by GamFratesi for Casamania

GamFratesi is a design agency founded in Copenhagen in 2006 by Danish architect Stine Gam and Italian architect Enrico Fratesi. According to Dezeen, ‘this Italian-Danish pairing embodies two talented European design traditions: the magical union between the design of the South and that of the North.’ What we most like about their work is the way they reinterpret objects that our eye is already familiar with adding something unusual. Their work has been displayed in a solo exhibition at the Danish Museum of Art and Design from September to December 2009 and at Trapholt Museum from March to September 2010.
Make sure to press continue to see more of their work and also a video of the duo, in which they talk about their influences and the importance of craft in their work.

The Rewrite desk made to create a private working environment. The soundproofed ball affords protection from both light and external noises and also dampens sounds emanating from within it. The natural, precious materials of which it is composed, walnut and Kvadrat Divina wool, reinforce the overall feeling of softness and security.
