They say you can’t judge a book by its cover, but that’s not true when it comes to fashion magazines. There is no greater month than September for fashion magazines. Some of the issues weigh more than a pound and exceed hundreds of pages. They kick off a new season of collections and give the tone when it comes to the coolest trends of Autumn-Winter.
And how it’s that time of the year again and September issues are out and about bringing their A-game with statement-making covers and editorials we couldn’t pass the chance to pick and brag about our month’s top five favorites, from visuals to inspiring quotes.
I was trying so hard to be taken seriously. This is not a joke or a stunt, this is what I want to do with my life. I had to prove that I could do it. And now I feel like I’m a part of something. I feel I have accomplished something that is mine. – Kendall Jenner interviewed by Jonathan Van Meter | Photographed by Mert & Marcus for Vogue

I couldn’t just sit there and listen to these girls, and boys, too, but usually girls, say this stuff, about bullying, about their sexuality, depression, and guilt and suicidal thoughts and just all of it, without being like, ‘I have been through that, and it’s going to be okay.’ If I can help a teenager go through a better time than they should be, then I am going to fucking do that. I mean, fucking being a teenager suuuccccks. And I somehow came through the other end. – Cara Delevingne interviewed by Jessica Pressler | Photographed by Terry Tsiolis for ELLE
LB: Favorite selfie pose? KKW: I love a selfie in the mirror. KW: I love her nude selfies. Like, I love the ones from the side, the back ones, and the front. I just love seeing her naked; I love nudity. And I love beautiful shapes. I feel like it’s almost a Renaissance thing, a painting, a modern version of a painting. I think it’s important for Kim to have her figure. To not show it would be like Adele not singing. – Kim Kardashian West & Kanye West interviewed by Laura Brown | Photographed by Karl Lagerfeld for Harper’s Bazaar
JS: I 100 percent agree with Willow on that one. My parents are definitely my biggest role models. And that’s where me and Willow both pull all of our inspiration from to change the world. It all comes from a concept of affecting the world in a positive way and leaving it better than it was than when we came. I feel like that enters into all types of different areas because there are so many different outlets that life has to offer for us. That goes into technology, into music. That goes into science, into spirituality, into education. Where me and Willow come from, a lot of it is trying to make society more efficient, so that kids don’t cry, like, “Why do I have to go to school?” Instead, kids are like, “Yeah! I’m so glad to go to school! I’m a better person than I was yesterday, and I can help people.” WS: Exactly! – Jaden Smith & Willow Smith interviewed by Pharrell Williams | Photographed by Steven Klein for Interview
