The SS15 shows conclude in Paris; the last stop on the itinerary for this season’s fashion week. One of the main acts of the Parisian runways was Dries Van Noten’s presentation. For the next summer’s theme, the designer got his inspiration from John Everett Millais’ Ophelia and Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream. It was a spectacular show; with models walking on shaggy, brown-patched grass in hippie-like attires, enhanced by murky colors and intricate patterns. However, the story of this particular collection didn’t stop at clothes, as it extended towards the accessory realm with ease and finesse. From fur-detailed shoes and bags, to oval rounded sunglasses; we’ve fallen in love with the wide range of textures and colors embellishing every single complementary item. Heavily inspired by vintage design, Dries opted for familiar, circular hard frames with a minimalist take on the sunglasses’ bridge form. Before you know it, winter will be long gone, making room for an entire new collection of fashionable shades. As always, our mission is to keep you posted on the newest trends, so stick close. Until next time, feel free to feast your eyes with our present curated selection of Dries Van Noten sunglasses, right here.
