Linda Farrow luxury eyewear label started in 1970, when the designer worked with fashion houses such as Balenciaga, Yves Saint Laurent and Emilio Pucci to create sunglasses in the seventies and eighties. Linda Farrow was among the first to treat sunglasses as fashion items. By late 80s however, the designer chose focusing on her family over her fashion career.
Years after, her son, Simon Jablon, and wife, Tracy Sedino, restarted the family business and succeeded in making it one of the most relevant brands on the eyewear market. They started off collaborating with designers such as The Row, Kris Van Assche, Dries Van Noten and Oscar de la Renta, only to launch their own line Linda farrow for Spring Summer 2008. You can find out more about their journey in our interview with Simon here. As you can see, there are plenty of reasons to celebrate! This is why this year, the Linda Farrow team has traveled around the globe, organising big parties to celebrate alongside many of the stores that stock their products – just have a look at the photos below. And to make things even more fabulous, they launched a capsule collection to honour the occasion. sunglasscurator.com couldn’t miss the chance of spoiling our beloved sunchasers, so we are very excited to let you know that as of now you can now shop two special products from this limited collection in our store!
