We’re really excited for our curated designer, Mr Jeremy Scott, who was appointed Creative Director by the Italian high fashion house, Moschino, succeeding Rossella Jardini! The L.A. – based designer is really living the American dream, as he mentioned in a recent interview: ‘Yeah, it’s kind of a fairy-tale story. I was the intern, and now I’m running the company.’

This is quite surprising news for Jeremy Scott, as he’s been successfully running his own label for the past 16 years, with equally successful collaborations with top-tier international brand, Adidas. Lucky for us, he’ll continue to do both lines from now on as well!

When asked how did it feel to be approached, he replied: ‘Excited. For me, one of the key elements of Moschino is humor. It’s one of the few houses that has humor, and it’s the same thing for me. Another one of the bonding elements is their written messages that express thoughts and twist ideas. We share an obsession with poking fun at fashion. Whimsy, also.’

In an e-mail, Aeffe chairman Massimo Ferretti declared, “\’I am enthusiastic about this significant change, as our goal is to inject new energy into our Group in keeping with the changes already in place with other Aeffe brands such as Philosophy, Emanuel Ungaro, Pollini, and Cédric Charlier.’

As for us, we wish him all the very best and know he’ll be doing an excellent job for Moschino. Congratulations!
