Young Romanian designer, Ioana Ciolacu Miron, is the winner of the fashion talent award ‘Designer for Tomorrow‘ 2013, which took place in the tent of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin, in front of a Jury Board hosted by the Patron Stella McCartney. ‘All five finalists came up with fantastic ideas and have a good feeling for where they stand as designers. Ioana is a really big talent with masses of potential and I hope we’ll be hearing a lot more from her in the future’, said Stella McCartney.

With her collection Paradox, Ioana wants ‘to give a part of who I am by translating my personal experiences into visual realities with the help of my designs. This will be intuitively grasped by the women who wear my creations’. When asked to choose 3 words to describe her collection she said: ‘Paradox, electric, awkward’. Congratulations, Ioana, we’re looking forward to hearing more things from you!

‘The highlight of the event will be her first own fashion show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin in January 2014”, said John Cloppenburg, Member of the Executive Committee Peek & Cloppenburg KG, while renowned designer Stella McCartney will continue to accompany her throughout her future career.
