AA Studio is a group of young, Romanian architects and designers from Bucharest. They attended this year’s edition of ‘Maison et Objet‘, the benchmark event for trends in interior design, with a wonderful new project called ‘Melted Snow”. The project was inspired by a photo showing the Babele (Old women) area in the Bucegi mountains covered in snow. We love how everything turned out and we’re looking forward to other projects from AA Studio.

‘Melted’ was born from their desire to create a new, genuine object that would be very representative to the Romanian life. So they chose the table. The melted snow effect was possible through the use of Corian, a versatile material that makes it possible to be reshaped through heating at high temperatures.
